The Windurance Emergency Power Unit (EPU) is engineered to provide reliable and immediate blade pitch control in all situations requiring back-up power to the wind turbine blades.

One EPU is required for each blade and works in conjunction with the central pitch control unit (PCU). The EPU provides the power to a responsive electric motor.

The EPU has been engineered with the latest advances in technology to provide a long and reliable service life.
